About the event

Save the date for DSV’s biennial Education Conference for teachers and educators, Authentic Inclusion in Schools. The conference will present a range of practical strategies from a series of leaders in the education sector, supporting educators to better include and engage all students, creating genuine and meaningful inclusion in schools.

We are thrilled to announce that we have confirmed Professor Sue Buckley as our Keynote Speaker for this event.

Sue is currently Director of Science and Research at Down Syndrome Education International and Emeritus Professor of Developmental Disability at the University of Portsmouth, UK. She is a psychologist and a leading expert in education and development for young people with Down syndrome. Her keynote presentation will focus on teaching children with Down syndrome to read and how this benefits both language and cognition.
