Join our Community Participation workshop

Down Syndrome Australia is running a free online workshop for people with Down syndrome. Join us to learn about:

  • Being active and participating in the community.
  • How to get involved in activities you would like to try.
  • Hear from other people with Down syndrome.

About the event

This workshop will help you learn more about being active and participating in your community. It will help you learn ways to be more involved in activities you would like to try. Lisa will share her experiences being involved in community activities and why this is important for her.

Join us to learn more about ways to be active in the community.

There is no cost.

Sessions will run on Zoom and we will provide you with a link to join.

Lisa lives in Darwin and works for the NT Government. Lisa is also active in her community and loves bowling, dancing and travelling. Lisa is going to share her tips and suggestions on how to become more involved in activities in the community!

Kylie manages Down Syndrome Australia’s projects to help people with Down syndrome to be more independent. Kylie has facilitated the Becoming a Leader sessions and helped people with Down syndrome to learn about leadership.
