About DSMIG-AUS

Membership of DSMIG-AUS is open to healthcare professionals in Australia or New Zealand with a specialist interest in Down Syndrome.

The purpose of DSMIG-AUS is to improve the knowledge of Australian healthcare professionals in the medical aspects of Down syndrome by sharing and disseminating information about the medical aspects of Down syndrome.  The group follows a similar model to groups in the US and UK.

  • Convening a regular conference for health professionals to improve education.
  • Facilitating informal networking and information sharing.
  • Development of guidelines around common medical issues
