Are you a Queensland teacher or leader in a school that has a student/s with an intellectual disability or Down syndrome? Would you like the opportunity to receive free PD and network with other education professionals throughout the school year? Down Syndrome Queensland would like to invite you to join our FREE Professional Teaching Cluster!

The DSQ Education Team will host 4 online meetings throughout the year, where we will present on a variety of topics, followed by a collaborative discussion and Q&A.

This event will be our first meeting for 2024, where we’ll be introducing Key Word Sign (KWS), including commonly used signs and how to incorporate it into your teaching practice – led by an accredited KWS presented, Denise Maindonald.

Our subsequent PTC meetings will take place on June 6th, August 1st, and October 17th. Details and topics will be posted in the coming weeks.
