Community Inclusion Toolkit

The Community Inclusion Toolkit supports the inclusion of people with Down syndrome in the community, in education, employment, health settings, sports or in the community. Being inclusive is about finding, offering and supporting opportunities for people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds, to participate, to learn, to contribute, and to belong.

Ask about Down Syndrome App

Down syndrome Australia have developed the Ask About Down Syndrome App. The app features people with Down syndrome answering questions and sharing stories about what community inclusion is, what barriers they face, and how these issues can be addressed. The app also links to a range of resources that support and promote community inclusion.
