StepUP! Geelong cancelled
Due to deteriorating conditions after today’s rain and the risk of flash flooding, we have made the difficult decision to cancel StepUP! Geelong tomorrow.
The safety of our community, volunteers, staff, vendors and partners is our highest priority. After considering the forecast and the potential conditions at and around the event site, we do not believe it would be safe to proceed.
A big thank you to Sarah Collis, event partners and supporters – we know just how much effort goes into organising an event like StepUP! Geelong.
We hope the weather will be kinder in two weeks for StepUP! Melbourne on Sunday 18 October where everyone is welcome to join the festivities.
Thank you to everyone who registered, fundraised, volunteered and prepared for the event. Registered attendees will receive further information directly by email.

Planning your trip

Location: Eastern Beach Reserve, GEELONG
Start time: 10:30am (registration open from 9:30am)
End time: 1:30pm

Once you arrive – registration
If you’ve already registered, please have your name checked off by staff at the DSV marquee where we also have a few goodies to hand out.
If you intend to register on the day or have additional friends or family wanting to attend, that’s also fine, simply visit the DSV marquee on arrival to purchase your tickets.
Registration is open from 9:30am.
Ticket costs range from $0 (children under the age of 5) – $15 (adult). We also offer concession tickets.
Please note that no physical tickets will be issued, however registration is required upon arrival.

Merchandise
A range of StepUP! merchandise will be available to purchase at the DSV marquee on the day.
Toilets
You will have access the public toilets at Eastern Beach Reserve.
Food
There will be a range of food options on offer. Alternatively, you can bring along a picnic rug and self-cater.
Raffle
Raffle tickets will be on sale at the merchandise tent from 9:30am with the raffle to be drawn at 1pm.
