You’re not alone. Many families feel overwhelmed at this stage, wondering where to begin and what opportunities are out there. Life Launch is a one-hour, personalised exploration session designed to help teenagers and young adults with Down syndrome, and their parents/carers, take the first step into life after school.

Whether you’re just starting to think about the future or feeling stuck without a clear direction, we’re here to help you explore options, clarify goals, and connect with the right services to build a meaningful life beyond the classroom.

What’s included

A Life Launch session includes:

  • Identifying interests, strengths and goals
  • Exploring life pathways (beyond just employment!)
  • Understanding what opportunities are available
  • Asking questions in a safe, supportive space
  • Receiving an individualised summary plan to kick start the next steps.
