HR & Compliance Manager
Leonie White
Leonie has a background in education and has worked within the disability sector for over 17 years, initially in parent support followed by coordinating the MyTime program for Playgroup Victoria. Leonie began working at DSV in 2012 and over the journey has been heavily involved in the process of DSV’s NDIS registration and seeking grant funding. She has a daughter with Down syndrome and passionately advocates for people with disability and their families.

Sarah Wauters
Sarah has almost two decades of experience working in the not-for-profit sector, with a diverse background supporting children and families spanning foster care, cancer survivorship and mental health. She is passionate about making a positive impact in her community, professionally and personally, and enjoys offering her time and skills to various causes.
Sarah recently moved to Australia and enjoys exploring the country and seeing the native wildlife with her family.

Administration and Database Officer
Anna Cook
Anna joined DSV in June 2017 having previously worked in administrative roles in the education and childcare industries.
She enjoys working at Down Syndrome Victoria because she loves being part of an organisation that is working towards positive change.

Personal Assistant to the CEO and admin support
Stephanie Papaleo
Stephanie joined DSV in 1998 and is our longest serving member of staff. In 2019 Steph was appointed PA to our CEO, supporting his administration tasks, looking after the office, and providing admin support for other staff. Steph also enjoys contributing articles to Voice magazine.
Steph has lots of experience in the administration area and has a Certificate 3 in Business Administration. She also volunteered at Brotherhood of St. Laurence. When Steph is not working, she loves spending time with all her nieces, hanging out with her sister-in-law, and her sister.
