Opportunities
Possibility Pathways Program
DSQ has been successful in obtaining a grant for the Skilling Queenslanders for Work (SQW) Initiative and are excited to announce that we are looking for participants to join our 8 week program called Possibility Pathways Program.
Through engagement in our SQW program we believe that young people with Intellectual Disability will develop the fundamental skills to pursue their career aspirations and increase their likelihood of transitioning to further training and employment or improved job roles.
Days: Monday and Tuesday’s
Times: 9am – 3pm
Location: DSQ Ascot Office, 77 Kitchener Rd, Ascot

Tri21 Series
The Tri 21 Series is the largest fundraising event on the DSQ calendar, held from 2-3 December 2023. The event hosts 3 sports (netball, cricket and netball) across two days to raise funds for people with Down syndrome and their families. You can participate as an individual or as a team.

Join our Play matters Affiliated group!
This casual playgroup provides up to 2 hours of facilitated play for families. Each week is a different theme activity for children up to 6 years old, including 1-hour music therapy session. Held from 9:30-11:30am on each Wednesday.

Employment
The employment service at DSQ connects people with Intellectual Disability to local organisations to increase skills and obtain suitable employment. Whether you’re looking to find a job, hire an employee or discuss your options, our team will help you along the way.

Volunteering
DSQ Programs
Our programs provide participants with an authentic social and education experience to develop their social and independence skills. From awareness events, peer support and challenge weekends (camps), our vibrant and dynamic organisation has a diverse range of volunteer opportunities for those that are interested in getting involved.
To volunteer for our social programs, you must hold a valid working with children’s card and NDIS clearance.
