Fundraising is a fantastic way to get involved in your local community! There are so many ways YOU can help. Down Syndrome Queensland has two official fundraising activities a year;
- 21 March – World Down Syndrome Day – Lots of Socks – many of our members and supporters run and participate in events to raise funds. Join DSQ to raise funds through ‘Lots of Socks’. Visit our online store to buy your socks.
- August – Bridge to Brisbane – DSQ will pay for your registration, and you pledge to raise funds for us.
- October – Down Syndrome Awareness Month – our members and supporters will be helping us raise funds at StepUP! events across the country. You can find out more about StepUP! here.
You can also raise funds any other time of the year that suits you – whether it’s adding a workplace fundraiser to your office social calendar or taking part in a challenge, or joining us through our charity events you can make a difference while having fun and raising awareness for Down Syndrome Queensland.
All funds raised for DSQ will go towards providing services and programs for the Down syndrome community.

Wills and Bequests
Leaving a gift in your Will is the only way to ensure your estate goes to the people and causes that you care about and have supported throughout your life. If you would like more information about leaving a will or bequest to DSQ please contact email@example.com
Regular giving is one of the easiest and most effective ways you can help support DSQ. It’s automatic and flexible making the giving process easy for you. Simply choose a gift amount to be debited from your credit card or nominated bank account once a fortnight/month. You can update your payment details, update the gift amount or cancel or pause this at any stage. We will provide you with an annual statement each July to help you with your tax return. You can register your regular giving here:
