The Tri21 Series

The Tri 21 Series is the largest fundraising event on the DSQ calendar, with a mission to raise funds to support young children with Down syndrome, who are either not eligible or waiting on NDIS funding, so their families can afford to access early intervention therapy.

Originally starting as a one-off indoor cricket match to raise funds and awareness for individuals living with Down syndrome in 2012, the Tri 21 Series has now expanded to include Netball and Volleyball played in simultaneous competitions over a weekend. With players of all levels coming together for a fun-filled weekend in the name of charity, the Tri 21 Series is the ultimate community event. Tri 21 Series has been embraced by the community and raised over $225,000 for DSQ.

And this year it’s back and bigger than ever! The series is going to be played on the first weekend in December at Action Indoor Sports, Wynnum. With a mix of social and competitive grades the event attracts participants with a range of sporting ability and a goal of working together for for a common cause. All egos are left at the door; the Tri 21 Series is about community, inclusion and supporting people with Down syndrome.

How to get involved

The Tri21 Series is only made successful through the dedication and commitment of the volunteers, the sponsors and most importantly, the players! Are you ready to be a part of something truly special?

You can enter your team in cricket, or enter as a single player for cricket, volleyball and/or netball.
